Privacy Policy

TextTasker is a service operated by Inkidink Holdings, LLC ("TextTasker," "we," "us"). TextTasker provides a reminder service that works by text message. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Your phone number, which serves as your account.
The messages and photos you send us, such as reminder requests, schedules, and replies like DONE or SNOOZE. We use these only to create or update your reminders, and we do not keep them (see "We don't keep your messages" below).
Reminder details we create from your messages, such as the task, date, time, and how often it repeats. This is the only part of your messages we store, because we need it to send your reminder.
Your time zone, so reminders arrive at the right local time.
Payment information, if you subscribe. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
Basic technical information when you visit our website, such as browser type and pages visited.

How we use your information

To create, send, update, and cancel your reminders.
To reply to your messages and provide customer support.
To send account messages, such as trial and billing notices.
To process payments.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve how well it works.

We use artificial intelligence services to understand your messages and photos and turn them into reminders.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run TextTasker, and only as needed to provide the service:

Text messaging providers that deliver messages to and from your phone.
Artificial intelligence providers that process your messages to create reminders.
Payment processors that handle subscriptions.
Hosting and data storage providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

Text messaging privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text message consent and opting out

You agree to receive text messages from TextTasker by texting our number. Message frequency varies based on the reminders you set. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

We don't keep your messages

When you text us, we process your message or photo to create your reminder, then delete the original. We do not store copies of your messages or photos in our systems, and we delete them from our messaging provider's records right after processing. The only thing we keep is the short reminder itself, such as "Dentist, Wednesday 7:00 PM," and we keep it only while the reminder is active:

One-time reminders are kept until they're sent. After that, we wait up to 24 hours for you to reply DONE or SNOOZE, then delete them. Replying DONE or canceling deletes them right away.
Repeating reminders are kept for as long as they keep repeating, and deleted when you cancel them.
Texting DELETE MY DATA deletes all your reminders and account information immediately.

How long we keep information

We keep your phone number and time zone while you use TextTasker. If you reply STOP, we stop all messages and delete your information within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records, such as payment records, for legal or accounting reasons. To delete everything immediately, text DELETE MY DATA or email us.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@texttasker.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional privacy rights under state law, and we will honor requests as required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

TextTasker is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
